I’ve always enjoyed documenting families here in the Coachella Valley—not just the perfectly posed smiles, but the real, messy, funny, wonderfully imperfect moments that make your family unmistakably yours.
Don’t you ever think to yourself that you have tons of photos of your kids sitting in your phone, but none of them include you? Lets fix that! Lets get together and make some lovely photos of your kiddos, but this time YOU get to be in them as well!
One of the things I love about documenting kiddos is the unpredictability. They can be little stinkers can’t they? But you know what, I say let them! Let them be who they are, I can promise you its the wacky silly imperfect ones that you will look back on in the years to come and cherish the most. You never know, you might even use them in the “wedding day” slideshow! *wink*
When you choose a documentary-style family photographer, the goal isn’t perfection. It’s connection.
Instead of spending your entire session trying to make your littles sit still and smile, we can let them explore, play, cuddle, laugh, and interact naturally. I’ll guide you when needed, but I’ll also give your family room to simply be yourselves because in the blink of an eye they will be teens and won’t want to be seen with you. LOL!
You’ll look back at these photographs and realize that the messy hair, crooked smiles, silly faces, and imperfect moments were never imperfections at all.
