When the temperatures in the desert aren’t so completely nuts, these are the kinds of photographs I like to make. Photographing these cutie patooties is such a joy… yup, some make me work harder for it than others but thats a challenge I’ll gladly accept if it means I get document their sweet faces for their families. I dig the camera aware moments, but I also really love the more documentary style ones as well. The ones were the kids are just being silly… the sillier the better!
I also love the imperfections, the goofy smiles, the tongues sticking out and yes, even the flyaway hairs… to me that is all part of their personalities at that moment in time. Priceless!
